I really like the cover and all the thoughts around Buffy but I just can't bring myself to love the comics..I'll read them though..only cause Joss is behind them.

Hey, you're not alone. I know a lot of people who are dissatisfied with the comics, but can't stop reading them because they're invested in Buffy so much.

So far, I like the story, although I assumed crash position long ago and I expect something horrible to happen since issue 1.

And, of course, waiting a whole month between issues is tiresome.

Yeah, I already love Buffyverse too much to just let the comics be. Well, the first 2 issues were ok, I liked them and then the whole not-remembering-who-you-hooked-up-with and then the pregnancy stuff got me back to square one. I just don't like how ooc is Buffy, especially if I remember the whole Satsu thing.

Yep, waiting..never good. Especially for a few pages -.-

And possibly also an homage to the X-Men Dark Phoenix saga, since Joss is more of a Marvel comics lover.

Good catch!

I hope it's a trick similar to the cover where Xander carries Dawn. Joss can't kill and resurrect Buffy for the third time, can he? It would be ridiculous.
