Anyway, I get that Angel thinks they should just work through the pain but...if there's a way out that doesn't hurt them, and a way that is of their choosing, then why not? Wish that thing was around when I broke up with my ex, at any rate.

Interestingly, they indirectly argue for that idea too: Nadira has turned into an emotional cripple ans sociopath. She cultivates her pain and is the hostage of her hate.
Apparently, the way out is somewhere in between - I wonder if Gage could find that way in his narrative.
