i think it'll be a nice respite from the sci-fi direction the book's been going in recently, which was pretty overwhelming: the vampire leader of a group of alien bugs in outer space must aid his natural enemy and sometime paramour reclaim her body from her cyborg copy after an experiment switched their bodies...like are you fucking kidding me...?
when i said it out loud it made me question my fandom faaar more than the most polarizing aspects of season eight ever did. seriously, say it out loud and tell me how you feel after.
i think it's really cool will help ground season nine if they focus on how the slayers begin to integrate and operate as a part of society; figuring out how they fit into this new world.
