The Lighthouse

Two lonely lights, slowly fading away, one from disappearing ships, the other from disappearing dreams. One without the other could stand it no longer and fell to it's death.
This shows me what neglect and disrepair will do to one who faithfully waits for its usefulness to return.
A thought-provoking drabble. Thank you. : )

So beautiful, and so sad. When Jack stopped coming, the lighthouse hadno more reason to exist.

This was beautiful in a heartbreaking way. A place Jack visited alone, the lighthouse absorbed his unhappiness and when Jack didn't return the lighthouse crumbled under the wait of pain.
It send shivers down my spine.
