Summary: Um, so this is a gen fic detailing how Andrew DeRoberts's ice cold heart was melted by the likes of Kris Allen and his band. Kind of. 16k.

It was fun to delve into it and think about what their dynamic as a band might be. I hope more people write fic about them.

I dunno dunno. It may be pathetic, but like that moment when Kris is singing Red Guitar and Andrew is seeing it for the first time...there may have been some wetness in my eyes or something. I dunno I dunno. I can see all this being real life. I loved all the little moments, between Andrew and Kris, between Cale and Kris. You really brought these people's personalities to your story and I didn't feel like you compromised anyone for the sake of the story.

They really are such a fabulous bunch of musicians. I love them a lot too. Sigh.

Thanks!! The BB King's version of Red Guitar is one of my favorite Kris performances everrr. Like, top 3, at least. Though really I loved that whole set, even though it was all acoustic.

Andrew is such a dick. I really didn't connect with him at all. But otherwise it was quite engaging. Could use more slashy subtext tho, but in my mind everything needs more slashy subtext.

OH, and I was originally going to throw in waaaaaay more Kradam subtext (and when Andrew finds Kris sitting outside of the room with the phone in his hand, I was going to try to make it more ambiguous at ~who he was calling and why he looked so sad about it), and go all the way through the Kradison concert and include it there, but it ended up feeling complete where it ended. I'M SORRY I DROPPED THE BALL.
