you don't even know how many times i have thought that. i've been having some pretty vivid and emotionally charged dreams lately too. if you ever figure out what any of it means, i'd be glad to know.

seriously, dreams are SO weird.

isn't it amazing that you can have had such a close relationship with someone- have them be such an important part of your life and who you are- and then end up so totally removed?

yes it is, I hope to be able to avoid such outcomes in relationships, but maybe that's what people need sometimes

i learned a while ago that the girl who was my only friend in my neighborhood from when i was 3 until i went to high school got pregnant and had decided to keep the baby and marry the father. it didn't matter that i have not spoken to her in years and years; i knew the instant that i heard she was pregnant that she would keep the baby.

i still havn't seen her since this all went down and i want to know how it's all working out for her. and yet, it would be almost too much to talk to her again. i think to me she'll always be this crazy 12 year old who played "the little mermaid" with me at the pool and got mad that she couldn't be ariel. it's a little scary for me to take her out of that context since i havn't seen her develop into the person she is now.
