Get them into Savage Worlds. Find some good settings (I really like the look of Sundered Skies, although I'm going homebrew myself) and pimp the heck out of the system.

You will probably love Paranoia. Three-or-so sessions into my first game, with a GM who has never GM'd before, and it's still comparing well against D&D, if only because there's a lot more in the way of lateral tactics, and a lot less in the way of straightforward combat.

Summarily executing your teammates for treason? That's just the cherry on top.
