[OOC] Mushi Info!
So I don't have to have a super-long OOC note:
- Listening to the shells causes the sezuri-kai mushi to enter affect the listener's body, causing them to lose their voice. The effect is not painful. (ETA: duhhhr I was remembering wrong. The effect is internal, but it's not an infestation.)
- The shells sound like birds rather than the ocean. It's actually quite pretty!
- The effect will fade on its own within a week or so, which is when I am planning to officially end the event. As always, it's up to the player how long they want their character to be affected, and how. If you'd like this to affect voiceless characters differently, then be my guest.
- This is the first of three posts. Ginko will have his own thread in all of them (except the last one maybe), and everyone is absolutely welcome to come talk to him, but he will not be commenting to people in the post unless he has good reason to start a conversation.
- I might borrow the boss journal in order to run the "shells," for those who want to play out picking up the shell and listening to it, but overall the post is intended to be a mingle post.
- If this goes well, I am totally going to run more mushi events in the future. :|d
