i know how you feel aboutthe scheduling. you could have my hours the week before christmas! I work for 8 days straight a total of over 80 hours all of which are spent running back and forth to get shoes for grumpy old ladies and clueless men shopping for their wives. ROTK will be a zoo for you though. everyone will be in there whining kids and all. Thats my biggest pet peeve screaming kids. If your kids are that upset take them home. lol.
you don't even know the HALF of what ROTK is going to be. haha.
here's the scoop: at the theatre i work at, we are doing the trilogy tuesday (we are one of a very select few theatres WORLD WIDE doing this) wherein we show all 3 movies, in a row. it starts at 1:00pm and ends at 1:35am. it sold out in 23 hours. THAT will be a zoo. we have 83 pizzas coming, we are opening at 8am for them (hence my 8 - 5 shift of DOOM) and just...auuugh. it is gonna be crazy. we have people flying in from out of country, to our theatre, driving in from out of state...you must understand, spokane = not the big city. so this is just...woah. haha. but it will be something to remember, that is for sure. :)
anyway, i am positive that even that does not equal working in retail at this time of year. i only have to deal with assholes friday - sunday, the rest of the week people are relatively nice. you have to deal with it every day. >.< that...sucks

well at least today the customers weren't too bad. It was my coworker I wanted to kill. she snapped at me and accused me of taking her sales. uh yeah whatever and thats why I'm being lectured by my boss because my sales are low because I'm taking sales. I felt like saying screw you. I'm just sick of being bullied because I'm so much younger than she is. I can't help the fact that I'm 29 and she's 50 something. the fact is though I am an adult and being nasty to me and talking to me like a five year old is not gonna cut it. either my boss does something or I'm gonna explode and it aint gonna be pretty.
