So first off... as I realize I haven't told most people yet, I ended up graduating from Stanford with my Masters this spring. haha... it was a very last minute and unexpected thing though. The day after I finished up my work for the quarter, I went to have a meeting with my fellowship advisor and discovered that since I'd chosen not to continue

A friend of mine had a tumor in her breast, and while it was benign it was removed and she had a long recovery process. There's no cancer, but it was pretty scary. She's 23, and the same tihng happened to a 22 year old I know.

Tumors don't mean cancer or death - but they are serious. My friend's biggest complaint is the scar, but I think it's like a battle wound.

Congrats on graduating! And if you end up with a job in NJ, we should totally hang out! I host these great debauchery parties....
