I am not so familiar with the word, but I've also heard that word spoken by my elders. I must agree that MATH is not about everything. There are certainly a lot of things that happens around, which math could not explain or will never be able to explain. I hope you'll be able to learn from your lost for you to have a better game next time and be able to beat that team.
