here we have an exciting tale of Kathryn's bus stop adventure. [Always go to the Ave just to watch people]
There was one man, an African man of medium large build, who sat next to me at the stop. He watched me struggle with my pizza, covered in wonderful mushrooms and many peppers, amd remarked that "That's some good pizza there'. Later asked for a bite of my food [what was that? Who asks a strange girl for food?]I give him some, finish mine, and get out the music I'm supposed to be marking up for my teacher. He starts telling me about his sister who plays six instraments. Another man at the stop, a white man probably not over five ten, with thinning light brown hair, asks if I play in a highschool band. The first man does a double take, exclaiming, 'you're in highschool? Did you get held back a few years?"
At this point my lovely always-late-especially-in-the-rain bus appeared and I got up. The second man then asked if I was an exchange student. I replied 'no', a bit confused. He continued to ask me if I was from Germany, ["no"], and finally if I had any German blood in me. To this I replied 'yes, I am a quarter German', and he began telling me how I reminded him of someone, a little older than me, who was German. He remarked that I looked classicly German, adding that this was a good thing.
I don't think anyone's told me I look German in my life.
This may not seem exciting to anyone but myself, but I thought it was funny.
