You were smiling at me again. I used to be happy about that. I would give you my brightest smile and giggle, you would come to me and hug me or just fool around me. But this time, it was different. I couldn’t smile back, I couldn’t even bring up lifting the corners of my mouth. I turned my head and pretended like I was okay, but in the corners of my eyes, I could still see you smiling at me.
I sighed and stared at the ceiling. You used to be here, with me, in my dorm. We used to have fun and we used to talk. We were best friends, or at least, I thought so. Since you hooked up with that girl, my head was an awful place to be. Thoughts and feelings overwhelmed me and I thought about the option that maybe, all the time, you were something more for me. But I didn’t notice it. And neither did you, apparently.
I closed my eyes. The darkness had something peaceful, something calming. Or maybe I didn’t have the energy to stand up and turn on the light. I was so tired. I searched for my iPod in my pocket and turned on the music. Your voice crawled inside my ears and took over my brains.

Such applicable lyrics which left me crying.
