[Okay, this is weird. He's not due a regain, so at first Dist is wary of the neat little box on his doorstep. [Dist wasn't the only one who had received a box of a peculiar nature. Jade just hasn't opened his yet, and was entertaining the idea of not opening it. He was well versed in the little things that made Mayfield 'special' and was well aware that this box probably held something quite useful to him, but there were horror stories... it could also hold something not quite useful. ...Which was why he was quite perplexed over this.

Tapping the top of the box, brows furrowed in thought. This could very well hold his fonic artes... but it also could not. And he was just going to ponder this more when he heard the knocking and that... that voice. Well he had every intention on ignoring him but it might just actually be important.

Who would ever have imagined that Dist would ever be remotely useful to him again. Heaving a small sigh he's getting up from his place in the kitchen, taking the box with him. He did not trust this 'family' of his and he would rather they not touch his things. Carrying the box under one arm he goes to answer the ( ... )

[Sigh. What are you even talking about. His attention back on the box and the familiar, if irritating, smile is on his lips and he's giving a disinterested shrug.]

Why... since you're interested in my personal business I no longer feel the need nor curiosity to open it.
