PLAYER INFORMATION
NAME: Angel

CHARACTER INFORMATION
SERIES: Gundam 00

NAME: Tieria Erde

RACE:
Tieria is an Innovade, Combat Type Innovade to be specific (see Abilities and Powers section). Innovades are genetically engineered bio-terminals created by VEDA and Celestial Being and are considered as artificial copies of a genuine Innovator (evolved human), created to help prepare and guide humans to Innovation (evolution) as well as lead mankind for the expected upcoming dialog with other lifeforms in the future. He is not aware of this until the last episode of Season 2, however he comes to the knowledge that he is an Innovator - a misunderstood term coined by the main villain, Ribbons Almark for his Innovade team. Thus, he will be identifed as an Innovator for now.

AGE:
Unknown.
He has been offered alcohol by his comrade (who refused to do the same for another pilot, who was presumed to be underage at that time), so it’s safe to assume Tieria is 20+ of age. The date of his creation is unknown in canon.

CANON POINT: Season 2 Episode 15

REFERENCES: REF: Gundam Wiki: Tieria Erde

GENDER:
Male
Combat Type Innovades are neutral by default. However, in canon, Innovades sent to live with humans are assigned a specific gender in order for them to live naturally as a human. Tieria, who has no idea he is an Innovade until much later of the canon is thus assigned as male.

APPEARANCE:
Tieria has a youthful androgynous look of a 16 years old, stands at 177 cm and weights 61 kg. He has neck length purple hair and wears a pair of powerless glasses to protect his red eyes. His eyes turn into digital rainbow hues when he is interfacing with VEDA or is using Quantum Brainwaves control system or telephathic communication.

His Celestial Being uniform consists of a pair of pale cool gray pants with white sides, dark blue undershirt, white turtle neck coat with indigo shouldering and green diamond shaped chest crest top with a half length purple coat. The uniform is completed with a pair of brown gloves and grey mid-length military combat boots.

PERSONALITY & HOUSE REQUESTS:

Ravenclaw
2nd choice: Gryffindor

A Gundam Meister selected to play judge to the rest of the Meisters (through his direct link with VEDA and being entrusted with the Trial System), Tieria was initially cold, calculating, strict, and distrusting. He often picked apart the actions of his fellow comrades to make sure they were following VEDA’s order to the minute and made it a point to punish them if they failed to meet missions’ goal, his expectations or had in any way threatened to compromise Celestial Being’s intels or integrity, going as far as shooting them down himself if he has to. He is fervently loyal to VEDA and Celestial Being, putting their course, ideals and missions above all else. He would often take charge of their mission with VEDA’s permission due to his distrust of their strategist’s ability. Even though his intelligence and ability to make capable snap decisions was respected, but thanks to his horrible social skills, his relationship with the rest of the crew suffered greatly until he lost the treasured link to VEDA. However this later change to a much more positive light, as Tieria learns to be more appreciative of the members of Celestial Being and becomes less dependant on VEDA. He was still very loyal to Celestial Being and its ideals but is no longer executing them in his previous stringent methods, and gives more thoughts on the safety and personal interest of his fellow comrades.

When his access to VEDA was severed, Tieria experienced vivid human emotion for the first time in his life; feeling abandoned and lost, he questioned the reason for his very existence. He gradually learned to be more human with the help of his teammate, Lockon Stratos/Neil Dylandy. He became much more expressive, although at that time, they mostly consisted of frustration and anger. This worsened after Neil took the stab meant for Tieria and injured his dominant eyes (Neil was the team’s sniper). Tieria blamed himself for Neil’s injury, losing confidence and doubting his own ability as a Gundam Meister and even apologized to Neil for it. Neil reminded him that it was alright to make mistakes as it makes them human and from then onwards, he slowly opened up and embraced a more human side, going as far as locking Neil in before they sortied for another battle in the hope of protecting him. Unfortunately, Neil managed to unlock and joined the battle, eventually dying in his quest for revenge against his nemesis. His death left Tieria devastated, as Neil was the only person who had not only accepted him for who he was (Neil knew Tieria was not fully human) and despite his high-strung attitude, continued to support and comfort him when he was at his lowest point in life. Tieria blamed himself for Neil’s disadvantage from the injury and Setsuna for being late to Neil’s rescue.

After the conclusive fight of the first armed intervention, Tieria who was injured after fighting hard for both Celestial Being’s goal and to exert revenge for Neil, ejected the GN Drive from Gundam Nadleeh, hoping that Celestial Being will be able to salvage it before the Earth Federation did. He was prepared to join Neil, only to be rescued by the Feresthe branch of Celestial Being. He mourned the death of Neil, but managed to eventually came to his senses and rebuild the battered Celestial Being in hope of building the world Neil wished for. Neil became his guiding pillar and much of his driving force throughout the second armed intervention. Tieria developed a humbler side and began to accept the member of Ptolemaios as his family, openly caring for them. Unfortunately, he also gained a rather wry sense of humor, much to the chagrin of everyone else.

If he has to be placed in any house, Ravenclaw would be the most fitting. Other than his intelligence and wits, as demonstrated by his aptitude in making capable snap decisions, Tieria’s constant effort to learn how to become more human as well as his never-ending effort towards Celestial Being’s goal is a clear trait of Ravenclaw’s resources-fullness. He spent considerable time mastering and improving his skills set during the 4 years prior to the second armed intervention. When previously, he was only equipped with enough mechanical knowledge to perform maintenance on his own Gundam, he expanded his knowledge in the field and was actively involved in building the successor units with the mechanical team, and later performed various test drives for the Gundam systems with the main team. He also took upon himself to master piloting their spaceship and handling its weaponry barrage in order to fill in the gap left by the deceased main ship pilot at the end of the first armed intervention. During the entire 4 years, he was the de facto commander of Celestial Being; he was the only Gundam Meisters on board while their strategist (Sumeragi Lee Noriega) resigned and the rest of the Meisters (Setsuna F. Seiei and Alleluyah Haptism) were reportedly Missing-In-Action.

While he was overbearing and bossy during the first arm intervention, acting as an overseer to the team and always asserting his position, Tieria took a backseat in command after the 4 years time skip. Even though it's obvious that he has a share of leadership and a capable leader on his own, he seems to be much more comfortable in sharing his responsibility with his co-leaders; allowing Setsuna to take a more vocal charge and is less critical towards Sumeragi, whom he had very little respect for during the first armed intervention. He also came to realized it was not Setsuna’s fault when he couldn’t rescue Neil and shouldered the guilt himself.

Over the time, he also had much lesser outburst whenever he’s faced with incompetency or matters of his dislike, choosing to advice or reprimand instead, unless you insult Neil to his face, then he will not hesitate in putting a bullet through your head. Along the way, he chose to place more trust and faith in humanity, believing that they will be able to come to the conclusion of achieving unity among themselves as he continues to learn about them. He placed the same faith in his comrades, especially Setsuna. When placed in a conflicting position between Innovators and humanity, he chose to believe in Neil’s word, placing his trust in his words and his own resolves, to side with the humans and even proclaimed himself human.

A minor but probably related issue, Tieria has mentioned clearly that he prefers space over the Earth. It’s also noteworthy that Innovades are built specifically with the aptitude to live in space better than a normal human would. This will correspond with Ravenclaw’s element of air. Tieria will surely be more at home in the Ravenclaw Tower.

If he has to be placed in a different house, his fierce loyalty and willingness to fight for what he  believes as right will place him in Gryffindor.

COMMUTER DETAILS:
N/A

POSITION: 6th Year Student

ORIENTATION:
Neutral.
Combat Type Innovades are neutral by default. Tieria feels emotions as normal humans do, however the neutrality in his gene makes it difficult to identify with sexual attraction. He can learn about them but it will most likely confuse him and he will take a long time and a lot of trust to explore this side of any relationship.

ABILITIES & POWERS:
CANON ABILITIES & POWERS
Innovade’s physical abilities
There are two types of Innovade; Combat Type and Intelligence Gathering/Espionage Type. Tieria is a Combat Type Innovade who are made to be superior in battle intuition, reflexes, coordination and possesses physical abilities far higher than regular humans as they are made with the aptitude suitable for a mobile suit pilot. He’s stronger, more agile and is able to withstand physical exertion better than a normal human would. Also, due to genetic manipulation and the use of nanomachines, his aging is suppressed and he is much more adapted to living in space.

VEDA
An Innovade has the ability to connect directly to VEDA (supercomputer) through it’s various terminals and VEDA-linked computers. Their access is categorized by Levels, altogether 7 of them and Tieria is one of the few granted a Level 7 access before VEDA was hacked. He is currently unable to link with or access VEDA in any Level or the Trial System that requires a link to VEDA.

Quantum Brainwaves & Control System
Quantum Brainwaves allows it’s user to mentally link and control any system that requires or made use of the same brainwaves, such as the interfacing with VEDA or VEDA-linked computers as well Gundam remote control system. Their potency are also affected by the amount of GN Particles (generated by GN Drive, the power core of Gundams) present around them. These usages are limited by the level of QBW required by the each system and they can only be operated should the the user possessed the required amount of QBW.:-
A - Genuine Innovators
B - Innovades (Tieria is in this category)
C - HRL Super Soldiers

The usage of QBW also allows Tieria to remote control his secondary Gundam (Seraphim Gundam) and presumably, any systems utilizing QBW that is connected to/made available to him, such as the Trial System in his Gundams (Nadleeh and Seraphim).

This also allows him to directly link with his genetic twin, Regene Regetta to communicate telephatically. It should be noted that this ability only affects Innovade and their direct genetic twin.

GUNDAM/Mechanical Engineering, Piloting & Warfare
Due to his prior link with VEDA where he is constantly fed and allowed access to a wide range of information, Tieria is very knowledgeable in various subjects, especially in regards to battle, tactical formations and warfare.

Tieria is also a proffessionally trained pilot; capable of piloting and repairing Gundams. During the 4 years time skip between season 1 and 2, he has expanded his knowledge base in Gundam engineering and their operational and mechanical system. He is responsible for conducting test drives and testing new operation system used in his own Gundam (Seravee and Seraphim), 00 Gundam and presumably Cherudim and Arios as they were all built during the time skip while the rest of the Gundam Meisters are unavailable.

He is combat trained and is experienced in handling weapons. He is also capable in piloting spaceship. He currently pilots the GN-008 Seravee Gundam and GN-009 Seraphim Gundam.

HP-VERSE SKILLS
Duelling
Tieria is a trained Gundam pilot, in which he excels in physical combat, arms usage, covet missions and tactical battles. Such skills will translate into excellent duelling skill in HP-verse. In order to further expand on this, Tieria's forte lies in straight-forward (and usually rather overkill) spells and specifically in defensive spells, while lacking in those that requires refine control (for example torturing or controlling) or sneaky in nature. He fights with virtue, rarely uses deception (except in tactical battles) and prefers to engage his enemy clearly. He rarely holds back in his fight, making him a formidable foe.

Flying
He’s a capable pilot, both on Gundam and spaceship. Flying a broom will definitely be a lot easier than those.

Arithmancy - Tieria's aptitude in Mechanical Engineering as well as being a bioterminal will allow understanding and interest in the subject of Arithmancy.
Defense Against Dark Arts - It's a given based on what he does for the majority of his life, he's well tuned for combat and will find it easy to learn and understand how such magic works.
Transfiguration - He will be able to do well in Transfiguration provided that he spends time practising.
Charms - As it is somewhat related to defensive spells, in which his interest to protect lies, he will definitely spend time on them and do well, except when it comes to charms that are useless/redundant in his opinion (example: Tickling Charms).
Divination - Absolutely crappy. Tieria is all about data, analysis, tactical forecast, strategy. He will not be able to understand such a vague concept of predicting things out of the blue.
Herbology, Potions and Care for Magical Creatures - Uninterested. He dislikes being on Earth and these subjects are clearly too earthy in nature for his liking. However, he will study for it if necessary, and most likely do well enough for an A and much better for Potions because of the precision needed. He just won't enjoy the classes and will rather not take it if allowed.

WAND:
Cedar with Phoenix Core, 12 ¼ inches. Unyielding.

MISC.:
Questions for mods:
Tieria is assigned to Gundam Seravee and Gundam Seraphim (they are twin Gundams, 2in1), will the Gundams be allowed into the HP world? And if so, where should his Gundam be stationed? The Gundams are self-charging (due to their superior GN Drive technology) without the need of any electrical station.

WRITING SAMPLES
FIRST PERSON:

[Audio]

[He would make this a video call if he is not currently occupied by the act of cleaning his fingers from ink stains. Despite how careful he has been while using the quill, he can’t seem to prevent smudging his hand, especially when he becomes too focused on his assignments. He has in the beginning ends up smudging his parchment, much to his annoyance but later learned how to avoid from doing so again by angling his hand to a certain degree when writing. But this technique doesn’t help prevent ink from staining his fingers. This ancient method of writing is slow and unnecessarily messy. Why they couldn’t at least provide them with the bare minimum of a typewriter is beyond him. Even a regular pen would have been much more pleasant than the quill. Putting that slight annoyance aside, he switches his commuter on and turn its broadcast mode to Audio before returning to cleaning his finger.]

I have been thinking why we were taken from our home to this castle. How it is made possible with the lack of any remotely advanced technology in place. To travel in space alone requires a substantial amount of technical needs and technology, I am positive when it comes to travelling between space and dimension, it would require technology even far more advance than anything available here. I have yet to find any evidence of such technology in this castle.

[He has been combing the entire castle, looking for hints, anything at all, that will tell him just how he has been taken away from his home. There is a need for him to return to them. A priority. But the more he look, the less he found. Nothing in the library is remotely helpful. He isn't looking for spells and magical solution. He wants a way back to Celestial Being. The small nagging feeling in him tells him to find out more about this world. Maybe then he will be able to find his way back to where he belongs.]

What is magic? Has any of you encounter such power before? [He would offer his own theory but that’s not the point of this broadcast. He wants to know the opinion of those currently held prisoners in this strange world. Keeping the broadcast open, he continues to clean his hand diligently, making sure to leave no trace of stubborn ink stains behind.]

THIRD PERSON:
It has been four years since that faithful date. The day when the person who mattered the most to him, more so than VEDA, has left, permanently from this still turbulent world. Things had changed and is still changing, but it was in no way changing for the better or heading toward the world that they had all fought so hard for. It was a defeat, a mission unaccomplished to the Gundam Meisters. And for the man standing in front of his grave under the rain, it was more than a defeat. It was a tragic lost, and the responsibility was his alone to bear. Tieria knew it wasn’t Setsuna’s fault. He knew, even when he lashed out at the younger pilot back then. He didn’t do it out of anger, it was disappointment in himself, but it was hard to shoulder the blame that his own incompetence was what brought the pillar of their organization to an early death. It was easier to place it on Setsuna, to call him out for being late, because he wanted to believe that no matter how impossible or tiny hope were, there was a chance to save that man who was so resolved to carry out his personal revenge over Celestial Being’s goal, over his own resolve to keep him safe. It was easier to be angry at someone else than to admit his own failure, it was easier to allow his tears to flow from that misguided rage then to be honest with his own human feelings.

And it was still hard. He stood there under his umbrella, holding the flower bouquet he had brought with him in one hand while his gaze focused on that name. That name that was so foreign to him. Neil Dylandy. No. Neil Dylandy wasn’t the one. He was not the person who encouraged him, who show him what he can do when he was lost, who accepted him for who he is. It was Lockon Stratos. Somehow it hurt to see a different name carved into that tomb even if he knew it was his name. His chest felt heavy with feeling that was foreign to him. He didn’t understand what it meant, but it hurt every time he thought of his mentor, his comrade. His family. It was as if even the weather agreed with him. It rained. The bouquet remained within his arm, he was... afraid to place it down. That simple action of remembrance suddenly seemed too surreal, as if it would place an end to him. His words still rang in his ears, in his mind and they were constant reminder of who he is and what he was meant to do, even if it meant making mistakes like every other human. That it was alright for Tieria Erde to make mistakes. But was it really okay? Was it okay that his mistake took him away? There were so many questions he wanted answers to, answers that VEDA cannot provide. Was he doing the right thing now? Was it right to trust others?

Then he remembered. That gentle and supportive smile. That soothing voice that held no contempt or blame. And he understood. Lockon was always with him. He was always here, he has never left. At least, not to him. With a heavy heart, he placed the bouquet down. He will keep moving forward. He had to. He has things to do, battles to fight but most importantly, he has a world to change. The world that they wanted to create. A world without war, a united world in peace... A world that he wanted too... But he will keep him close, because without him, who can he turned to when he needed an anchor...?

“...Lockon...” When has it became so difficult to speak his name? “...Stratos...” He frowned at how unbearable it was beginning to feel as he stood there under the rain. The memory of that day was still fresh in his mind. It played and looped in front of his eyes, here, at this grave, a morbid reminder to him. He wanted to leave but there was something inside them that prevented him from doing so... so he stood there and let the sound of the rain dulled the pain of his lost...
