so jealous!!! i had no idea you knew george but i guess it makes sense since you're around the same age and both from NYC. did you ride for mengioni too? i joined kissena this year and just trying to work my way through cat 5 now. i had only race 3 times prior but am trying to take it somewhat serious now.

is that giro stage in the dolomites or alps. i've only ridden the pyrenees which were crazy enough. the tormalet is sick.

I travel so much that I've never been an official member of any team or club and I actually know George through other means. We've ridden together on the occasions we end up in the same city and he blows my fucking doors off. It keeps me humble for sure. Whenever I trick myself into thinking I'm in good shape, I think of those guys and feel like a fat slob!

I started turning into a married fat slob for a while, but now it's warmer and I'm getting out more. That stage is in the dolomites, but it might as well have been on the moon. and I only rode part of it, up to Passo di Costalunga. Just check out this profile, I almost throw up just looking at it. I wish I could have been there earlier that week for the time trial in Florence and then the ride to and following rest day in Ravenna. That's more my pace!
