Cathie got a hamster today, it's a little ugly brown thing and I'm hoping to god she doesn't really name it Snickers. I don't really have much else to say about it. It's her little hobby and her pets keep her busy so she isn't quite so lonely when I'm away, I'll let her do just about anything as long as it makes her happy and keeps her

hamsters are evil creatures. sociopathic, stupid, and they bite.

as far as little critters go, domestic rats are pretty smart, but i'm a cat person myself.

I believe you my friend. It already bit her once when she tried to move the food bowl. She had rats about a year ago but they had to be put down (with an air gun) because they were sick and starting to smell like decaying flesh it was horrible and about the most nauseating thing I've ever had to do for her. It'll be interesting to see how long her obsession with hamsters last.
