Oh, that would be the greatest! I'm just really glad that we're trying to stay away from all the normal traditional stuff that goes on in a wedding. We considered having a tattoo artist there to tattoo us during the reception but that would be really really pricey and I'm not sure we can find one taht would do something like that. hehehe. Nevertheless, I'll throw in some Muslimgauze and give a toast to all my friends that are unable to be there! ... I'll post pictures on my journal of the wedding. Happy Earth Day btw!

oh yeah!!! Happy Earth Day to you too, sweetie!!! yes, that would be loved and appreciated (just as you are) to be toasted like we're all there together :-)

the tattoo thing would be cool, but as you said, i'm sure it's very pricey and hard to come by for such circumstances.

i can't WAIT to see photos of you two sweethearts!!! please please do post some here after the wedding, and send Cathie my love and blessings, please.

Your post reminded me of my Buddhist wedding. My husband's very Baptist grandma was very unhappy about it--we really aren't married in her opinion. And my mother pitched a fit because I wore black. Heavens to Betsy!

Nice to know that Illinois isn't the only state with scary Christian grandmas!
