Christmas    I spent all day yesterday with my squeeze, Justin. We went Christmas shopping for like six hours - it was intense to say the least. One of the stores we went to had the most amazing escalators I have ever seen in my life. I took a quick peek at the photos of "Casa Buko" and I have to admire your dedication. I cannot imagine living in an apartment like that. Shows your dedication towards learning Chinese!

Aww, hehe, you look like a little boy and you're psyched about the keyboard, that's so cute xD I have a keyboard like that too, except it was in color...so bopomofo would be in red, something else would be in green, something else would be in blue..it was crazy looking at it. I no longer use it, though. Half the characters had rubbed off (I'd only been using it for 2 years too T_T) and one day it just stopped functioning T_T *types characters blindly*

Have fun in Amsterdam! Hmm, I never got all that visa stuff, I just have my dad do it for me @_@;

haha - yeah, i was like "Justin, take a picture of me like a little boy with the obligatory "i got this for christmas" shot"

it's a little weird having all the things on my keyboard being the same color - every now and then i have to take a double take when im typing in english, and when i type in bpmf, it takes YEARS because i dont know bpmf that well at all, and i dont know where anything is on the keyboard. but thats the point of getting it - to become a lot more familiar with it

That keyboard is awesome. (I want a Mac for a desktop these days.) The new site is nice as well. Love it. [Alas, will rarely see it since I view these from the friends page.]

You learned bopomofo? I learned a bit by reading books with the annotations beside the characters I knew how to pronounce, and I figured out many of the characters that way. I just had no method of remembering them since I use pinyin for input all the time.

if you sent it now, i would get it when i got back from amsterdam - things seem to take about a week or so.

ive been sending things not certified and they have all gotten there fine, and all the mail i have received here has not been certified and arrived just fine. so id say it's okay.
