Good choice. Oh, by the way, my friend Jane was with me yesterday when I ran into you at the Pit, and naturally she asked me afterward how I know you and all that (because I am an idiot and forget to introduce people), and the CLC came up somewhere in the conversation. Anyway, can you possibly explain the CLC to me? Like what it's about and how people come to live there and all that? She's really curious. And I know how awesome you are at answering questions. Also, I'm glad you don't really need those glasses to see. I was worried there for a while. Are you coming to see the play? You should. I'm teching on it and I got to see it the other day...it was pretty spifftacular - very weird, but also very moving. Plus the effects are rather incredible. See you around.
I'm sort of planning on going to see the play tomorrow, although I need to find someone to go with. I've got a few friends in it, so I'm looking forward to it.
As for the CLC, it stands for Community Learning Center. We are special interest housing dedicated to community service and social activism. Each member has a small service requirement each semester, and also is a member of a planning group. The groups plan an event each semester: one social, one educational. My group is planning a discussion with Study Abroad returnees about women's rights and religion. But beyond our stated purpose, we're basically a bunch of hippies, lesbians, and sailing team members living together and having fun. If you'v got any specific questions, I can answer them too.
And stop stalking me! (even though I kind of like it...)
Oh, that works out really well, because that's when Jane's going to see the play, and she's my stand-in stalker when I, you know, have other things to be doing and can't do my own stalking. You should look out for her...red hair, glasses, irresistably beautiful, etc. Anyway, YES. Come to the play. Oh, that sounds really cool. Thanks for the information. I will pass it on to Jane. If she or I think of anything specific, I'll let you know. Have a good Tuesday.
