I feel like such a bad person. Such a horrible, horrible american. See, I cannot stand this country. I feel awful just writing that down, because I'm afraid like some crazy government agency will see this and kill me or something. Too much 1984! I agree with sooo much of what you just wrote. The original principles that our country was founded on have completely turned to dust. I am sorry to say I'm American sometimes too, because as much as I love the places and people here the government makes us all look like selfish, money-hungry violent jerks. I'm with you on the Europe thing :( Unless something drastic happens in the next 5 years I'm gone!

A question I have asked so many times in life. I have been excluded more times then I care to think about because I'm atheist.

The Tom Sawyer thing is a totally Fahrenheit 451. It's sad how much our world is becoming so much like these "extreme" "science fiction" stories.

Oh, and Jesus was a hippie, not a Conservative. Why don't people get that?!

I think the other reason why countries are doing so well or are so much more appealing is because most people there are really proud of their countries (Hell, I'd go there too just because it seems like everyone loves being there). For example, the Japanese and Germans still love their country despite what happened only a half century ago ( ... )
