When the mailman came to the door with a certified letter from the City of Seward my first reaction was to imagine the worst. I just knew it was a huge bill that we weren't expecting or prepared for or something regarding our boat in harbor. That's great news about the slip! I remember how the slips were personalized in FL when we lived there. Some had fancy lantern lights, and others had flower pots and garden art (even pink flamingos!).

LOL Weren't pink flamingos banned in Florida back in the late 80s?

I don't know what they'll allow us to do, but I hope we can put up our boat's name at least. :-)

I don't think pink flamingos will EVER be banned there! hahaha! In fact, Steve and I cracked up last summer when we went fishing down on the Clearwater river in Delta. A house we passed had pink flamingos in their garden. We assumed they were FL transplants to AK. :)
