i hate bright eyes and stadiums too
i prefer smaller venues, you can see and the sound is far superior

i think sometimes u just have to deal with having friends
that dont have similar interests, or atleast thats been the case with me

i suppose you are right. but also sometimes its hard to get along with them at times as well.

plus in smaller venues, you can actually ttalk to people, and the bands and ... its just cooler

i still don't get why the faint had to tour with bright eyes.

i think its way easier to make friends at college. i was never that social in high school, i didnt get along with most of the girls there either... but when i went to college i met tons of new people. living in dorms helped, if you had your door open other people from the building would just pop in and say hi. plus classes, study groups, the library, lunchroom and neighborhood coffee shops, etc. a lot of people go to college far from home and don't know anyone else there; i guess that inspires people to be more open and friendly? i dunno. im rambling.

i went to college in southern california. i started a few months after i moved down there and i knew like, one person. i could have lived off-campus but i chose dorms because i wanted to get the full experience and im glad i did. a lot of my friends at school were homesick for the first month or so, but its not too bad if you keep yourself busy (which shouldnt be too hard).
what are you thinking of going to school for?
