Jasmine knew. She knew about the Nexus. About the escape that April took from their shared dimension. And how most things came to a stop when the other girl left the dimension.
Except for her. For Jasmine was stronger. She was a Goddess.
And she had followed through the portal in April's last trip. Stayed back behind. And explored. To discover ways to gain power here.
It was not hard to learn about Clark. Or for a plan to come to mind. And after walking for a while, she finally thought she found him. She just needed a way to make contact. To establish her goals.
"Excuse me..." Jasmine flashed a smile at Kal. "I seem to haven gotten lost." She had heard Clark liked helping people.
Kal looks up, glad to see he doesn't recognize her, that she won't notice if he says or does something unClarklike. "Sorry to hear that. Where're you going?"
"Haven't heard of it, sorry." He's not suspicious, exactly, because there's no reason she isn't telling the truth. But he's a bit naturally wary, especially with people he doesn't know, so he gives her a grin (trying not to make it seem too sharklike). "I can help you find a map or something, if you want."
