if you have any ghost types, they're going to be basically useless.
they only type advantage you have is the fighting type, but if your team is at a high enough level, whitney is easy enough to overpower.
her miltank can be a bit of a problem though.
you have to be sure to take it out quick.

be sure to check your pokemon's movesets.
my lopunny is a normal type but she knew a few fighting type moves. which really came in handy.
her team is in the 40-45 range.
so you definitely want something that high, preferably higher if at all possible.

Namely... what kinds of things I should do in order to be prepared? And, uhh, I guess just stuff like that.

Don't have anything specific for ya. Just train and bring lots of healing stuff. But if you're that worried, you could always just go challenge her. If ya win, then you're done. If you don't, then you know what you gotta improve, yeah?

That's true, the point that you just made just now, but the problem I was thinking of with it is that it doesn't seem like it would be fair, mostly, to my team of beasts, to make them endure that kind of defeat just for a sort of, uhh, experimentation type process.
