It's not actually the rain that makes it hard to drive in the rain. It's the lights. When you are in the rain on a highway wish almost no light it's easy to drive with the lights off. I like the rain. I love rain. I love cold rain grazing my face. I love a cold breeze spattering rain against me chilling me beyond what i would ever want to be

Here, here! Rain is glorious.

I don't know if graze is exactly the word you are looking for... but I suppose if people can use the word to describe a bullet barely missing a person then you can certainly use it to describe rain.

I also agree that lighting can never be more powerful that the sun (scientifically speaking, anyway).

i like both the bright sun AND the rain ... both are nice especially when you haven't had them for a while. it's when it's day after day after day of rain that i start to get tired of it. (good thing i live in iowa where there's never a dull weather moment:) oh, and i love rain when i sleep (i know, everybody does:)
