Last night Im going to have to say BloodQuest owned FNL. I was happy with PaperCadence and TargetDora as well. Not much dancing was accomplished aside from the 2-3 circle pits started by Christian and Sam H. I got picked out of 100 applicants for a 20 person digital design class at Advanced Technology Center today. I think its safe to say Im stoked. Things are looking up this summer. I saw Requiem for a dream 3 times in the past 48 hours, that movie is very depressing...its got way too many deep subliminal messages, for instance; Boy and girl fall in love, boy and girl deal meth on the street to fund their fantasy dream world because they are in bunny love. Last night was most def interesting. Spent the night at barrys with Jon Maldanado, and John Golden. After Golden left in the morning we had a huge ass jam session. It had a real genuine rock feel to it. Barry has gotten alot better at the drums since I last heard him play. Maldanado is a bass god, and I guess I threw some heavyness in too. ( Read more... )

Bloodquests 3rd show was last night. What a great time, Heidnik and the SetAblaze fellas put on a good show too. If you havent seen Bloodquest, or have neglected to go out and support your fellow local musicians...be more social or some shit.
