yeah so today was awesome. didn't go to work cuz they weren't expecting me, cleaned the apartment, hung out briefly with t and k, worked out, went grocery shopping, cooked, dropped off a bday cake with candles for my neighbor ian, and watched tv while chatting with big about the usual crap. all in all, a nice day. :P

Hey I don't mean to LJ stalk you but - does the the theory of 5 apply to men and women, or just men? Brown men who just came to this country or brown men in general? As a brown girl, I don't feel like I have the emotional maturity of a 21 year old but of my age (if not older. I sometimes find myself relating to my 42 year old white manager. He once told me that I think old (in a good way)). However, I could see that theory working for desi guys. There is just so much to say about that. . .

I have to say that I'm not too into our culture. I know, I know but I can't help it. I like certain aspects of the culture, like taking care of parents when one is older instead of casting them out into the streets, but for the most part I think I'm way too American for my own good.

Yeah, don't know why I feel the need to add in that last paragraph but oh well :)
