I attend the mandatory First Step meeting this Friday for all students interning next semester. We register to intern and have the opportunity to request which school, and even which teacher to intern for. I emailed one of my previous practicum teachers to find out if she would like me to be her intern next spring. I hope to A.) hear back from her

The future can always be scary if not at least intimidating in some way. I always just hope that in the end along with some self guided direction of my own, most things in life will just fall in to place and everything will turn out ok, even if there is still the uncertainties and maybes that make you wonder if whatever happens is still what you had wanted or hoped for to begin with. As for death, you really never do know when or where it could happen, sometimes there are indications, but no one can ever be certain, and especially on a day like yesterday especially you can be reminded of this. I should take more of my own advice in saying this now, but that is why we should be more thankful for whatever we have now and just be glad we are alive today because we never really do know how things will turn out in the near or distant future, fatality or otherwise, we just have to live for what is now.
