Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! JAY IS COMING HOME!!!! :D I can't wait!!! We'll have to catch up at Chili's one Wednesday after you get back and you will have to tell me all of the details then!!!
I know what you mean. When my mom and I were almost on the end of our trip we just couldn't care how much the hotel costed, all we wanted was to just relax and wait for the day our plane would come and pick us up. I do miss Taipei though, there was so much to do there and it was fun with the hustle and bustle of the big city life.
Oh man... you have no idea. I'm having to really challenge myself today. I'm back in Paris, France. It's total deja vu (no pun intended on the French saying), and at first I wanted nothing but to escape to the relative comfort of my friends in London. Still, I'm considering heading over to the Louvre, since it's something I wasn't able to do when I was here before, and now I have a day to kill. I think I'm going to go take in the infamous museum leisurely, then I'm going to scoot back to the train station and catch the channel tunnel to London. With any luck, I'll arrive in time to meet my friends in Brighton for a cozy English dinner and a good night's rest. I'm looking forward to it for sure.
Home seems a distant, but welcome goal to me. Looking forward to a hug and a meal with you as well!
Yeah, they offered a special Da Vinci Code tour, but I was in too much of a hurry to wait for it to start. I didn't want to waste any time piddling around France.
What didn't I like? The people were rude, especially if they discovered that you didn't speak fluent French. They are a smell people who don't fancy bathing much. The prices were pretty steep, even for fast food. Most of their shops close early in the day, around 6pm, and don't 'extend' things even when you need that extra time. And, from what I tasted, their food isn't something terribly exquisite, and it was pricey. Oh, and although I can't blame them for this... it was HOT everywhere, and they mostly don't believe in Air Conditioning. It just wasn't a pleasant experience, especially when I stayed in that hotel room without A/C when it was like 92 degrees at night... ughhhhhhh
No more ranting! I'm out of France, safely in England. Weeeeee
