I always end up spending allot of money around this season, I'm not sure if it has anything to do with holidays, maybe its the weather. I don't really care about holidays or pay much attention to them

No advice here I guess lol.

I ended up doing what I always do and spent allot of money around that time of year :p

Got a whole new Canon 5D system with professional lenses and highest end flash etc.
Its tough coming from Nikon a very ergonomic very user configurable/customizable type of camera, to Canon, where theres only one way to use your camera (the way that canon wants!) .

I think next year ill probably go back to Nikon and re-buy all my favourite old lenses, The pro Nikon Lenses I believe are higher quality than the pro Canon lenses, another disappointing thing going to Canon, the Image quality of Canon is pretty nice though (due to the sensor). We'll have to see how the New Nikon D700's sensor performs, I might end up getting a D300 and D700, or D3

5d II is also tempting and attempting to keep me with the Canon familly, but Nikon is usually more customizable and has the functionality I fell in love with since I got my first nikon ;)
