I would love to be in your friend’s list. Sorry, but there is not much to see in my LJ, since I haven’t started working on it yet… But your interests have definitely caught my attention. I have a very small list of interests on my profile (because I am lazy and a bit secretive?), anyway I could have put almost all of your interests as mine (only I don’t like to walk barefoot, and the beach is great, but at wintertime). You’ve got learning, reading, writing, nature, spirituality and tarot (well, tarot is not on my list, because I wrote Tarot of Marseilles), that is about 50% of my entries. Then you wrote amazing things like Aecletic - I am a member too! And madredeus and Portugal? You see, I am Portuguese. Also, I don’t know what you mean by “alternative”, but that’s one of my favourite words. Will you consider this?
Sorry to have taken so long, I must have missed the email-notification of this comment. :-( I would love to add you! You sound interesting (I have the same book-obsession/contact lenses wearing thing for one, and we have several friends in common).
I also don't quite know what I mean by 'alternative' - I suppose I generally use it as a more acceptable term for 'weird'....;-)
I'm adding you now, I'm hoping you'll add me back! :-)
Great, you saw my message! Yes, we have some friends in common, but you were the first person I contacted in LJ - thought I truly believed you wouldn’t answer me (and you didn’t have to, of course).
I was on holidays, but now I am going to add you back. See you!
Hello, I've clicked through to your LJ from feath's comments, because I fell in love with your sun icon. I don't really write in my LJ often, so I wouldn't presume to request to be a friend, but could you tell me what your icon is from? Thanks :)
Pleased to meet you! My sun icon is made by a very wonderful artist, Katie Cook, who also happens to be a lovely LJ-friend; smarbaby!
Oooh, and you've got Kurt Vonnegut in your interests, I see! And six feet under; I've just started watching that and I love it! They would both be in my interests too, if I wouldn't have exceeded my 150-interests limit already.
Yes, please do add me, and I will also add you. While I don't write in my LJ, I do like to read my friends' list. Thank you for letting me know about the icon - I'm going to check out Katie's LJ now. And you have a lot of interests on your list that I should have added to mine, but didn't think of. I was kind of minimalistic when I filled out the info. :) Great to meet you!
I noticed your LJ icon when you replied to somebody's post in knitting. "Death" card from the Fey Tarot, right? If you're interested in Tarot, you might want to check out the American Tarot Association (http://www.ata-tarot.com) and their free monthly ezine, Tarot Reflections.
Hi! Found your journal when browsing the knitting community & thought you seemed interesting. Would you like to get to know me as well? Let me know if I should add you. (^-^)
Hi! Normally I'd add you in a heartbeat, but I've been a bit too busy to keep up with my flist lately, and I think I"m going to make quite a few cuts there. If you want, you can add me and I'll drop in every once in a while, and add you back when it's a little quieter around here.
I'm sorry it took me so long to respond! Yes, of course you can add me. I'm planning to snip my friendslist quite severly though, because at the moment I can't keep up at all, so I won't add you back right away. But I usually take a look at people who have me on their friends list every few weeks or so, so I might add you back as soon as I've got room to breathe again. That ok with you?

I'm adding you as a friend, if you don't mind.
