another great way to get girls to look at you is to have a small dog or puppy on the end of a leash. high maintenance though, maybe you could just rent one from somewhere?

Haha, yes, a dog, sure, but I wouldn't do small, if I could help it. Something Labrador-Retriever-sized, ideally, but that doesn't shed fur like it's going out of style. Maintenance involved, yes, but also unconditionally loving and loyal. You can't exactly pick up a human with such qualities at the local pet shop.

Something tells me a dog in class would not be a good idea:

"Does anybody know the answer?"
"ARF!!"
"Fido?"
