I never liked FB. I tried it for a while to see whom I could reconnect with, but the people I found and the interactions I was able to have with them, were all superficial and mundane at best, and in some cases toxic. I bailed on FB almost 4 years ago and I haven't once missed it. The only frustration it still causes me is how ubiquitous it's become, even on the other social networks I use. Spreading like a fungus, it is.
I don't real LJ as often as I used to, and I very rarely post. Life, it seems, has other plans for my time. My LJ circle seems to have shrunk considerably in the last few years, and many people use their LJ only as storage for tweets. Too bad, there were some great, in-depth conversations had here at one time.
