I was at work, living in NY at the time. Where were you? I will never forget that day as long as I live.

I was in a plane flying from manhattan to visit my mom in orlando.

We flew around on our layover for an hour or so without anyone telling us what was happening. We hit the ground and all the speakers were announcing that the flights were cancelled. I called my mom telling her that the pilots were on strike and I wouldn't be in till tomorrow.

Boy was I wrong...

That is so wrong and if you knew then what you knew now, you probably wouldn't have even said that to your mom. At least you weren't hurt and you're ok.
