Ok let's have a poll, is it better to play real notes in a jam or to go crazy and let your mind transcend into another world of music (aka make noise and hit the guitar and not play well)? I have fun sounding like shit. But the talent show went well. Hopefully I'll sound better when i try harder. Maybe i try hard and just suck anyways. But

It really depends on the jam. There both legimate styles of jamming, although actually playing is more.
So uh, actually playing. Your not Kurt Cobain, and your a tool if you try to be.
