Poll Car Seat PollWe are going to visit my mom on Saturday (it's a 7 hour or longer drive), and Mark wants to turn J around in his car seat.  I was planning on keeping him rearfacing until he seemed uncomfortable.

Even though Ben's still RF at 14 months (23lb and 28") , I cheated and said 15-24 months. I hope to keep him RF until at least this fall. He's not uncomfortable and doesnt fuss in the seat, so why switch?

Judd wants to turn him ("his feet are scrunched up!"), but I'm hoping to ignore him for a bit longer. We're still using his infant seat (its one of the new safeseats that goes to 30 lb), but we've kept it in my car and just installed a Marathon RF in Judd's car.

I dont want Ben to be mismatched in directions, and really dont want to have to squeeze a RF convertible seat in my car....

I'll keep Nora RF until she reaches either the height or weight limit for her Marathon. I'd imagine, she'll reach the weight before the height though. That's 33 pounds, so she's got another 13 pounds to go. Given that she hasn't gained a pound in 2.5 months, well, we might have a while to go. :)

It was right around 13.5-14 months. I wanted to keep G rear-facing for as long as possible, but giganto boy was starting to get fussy RF in the jeep. When we got a 2nd seat for Nate's truck he installed it FF because that's how it fit best. He lasted about two weeks longer RF in the Jeep, but we eventually turned him around and he was much happier.
