LOL. It is, it is! Why can't he just wear spandex like Supes? *grin* But at least the Batman suit is realistic and actually looks like armor. I'll give them props for that. :D

And Heath Ledger as Two-Face, yes! Because the guy who is playing Harvey? He's sooo blaannddd looking, lol. Well, I shouldn't pass judgment until I see him in action, but still ... plus, I really don't need a reason to want to ship Joker/Bats. No nonononono .... Although I like how messed up the Joker's hair and face paint are here; he really looks as psychotic as he's supposed to be.

Yeah ...I've never seen Heath Ledger play a psychotic role, but somehow I imagine he'll be very, very good at it ...he certainly looks the part!

I know Keaton needed armor to sculpt his average-looking body, but my God, people, Christian Bale is ripped and gorgeous! There is no reason on this earth to hide him under all that! Batman doesn't stand there and take bullets, trusting body armor to save him! Batman is an acrobat--he dodges, and he takes people out before they can shoot him! He's not an armored tank, for crying out loud!

OTOH, indeed, Bale is the most stunning Bruce Wayne ever in my book. Imagining him in a lighter costume, actually moving...but alas, it is never to be...

I totally agree. Heath is more Harvey Dent than Joker. Plus...there would have been some loverly Bruce/Harvey-esque scenes to run with. (Not that there won't be some classic moments, but still...)

This makes me feel kind of like I did when they cast Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort. Like he's in the movies, but in the wrong role, wtf? (I was always with the school of thought that cast him as Remus prior to the casting of PoA. It was just a slap in the face to see him cast as Voldie in the next movie ...)

That said, it will probably turn out the same way. Like, Ralph SHOULD have been Remus, but he makes a freaking bad-ass Voldemort; Heath SHOULD have been Harvey, but he'll probably make a pretty awesome Joker. I hope. :)
