that was beautiful, especially watching the mets fans get taken to the edge and then unceremoniously dumped. how's it feel, jerks? sorry, still a little bile left over from '86.

also, more nyc sports hate, talking to my fave d.c. exile now in the big apple, told him about the mets, he was pumped. "i love riding the subway after a new york teams loses!" ok. i generally like nyc, but have been trained to hate her sports teams.

meanwhile, happy day for the cards, but detroits going to D-stroy them, i hate to say. also, doesn't this series give you divided loyalties?
