i already have my clinton-obama '08 sticker. i don't know what your talking about. i totally think the u.s. is ready for a white female president with a black man as her running mate. the republicans would be left without a knuckle left to drag in the dirt. i mean, this recent immigration legislation has really brought out the best in our nation's character.

hard to tell what possible deal there could be between the hillary and gore camps. i do think obama is hanging back, maintaining his visibility while collecting cash, waiting for the fall before taking any major shots. i would assume he's also content to let edwards make hillary attacks for him. but as always, six months is an eternity in that business. third quarter '07 fundraising shall be key as we now have a de facto national primary on feb. 5.

on the other side, as offending to reason as the gop debates can be, it's actually deeper political music to my ears to hear those guys get more and more jackboot crazy with each new piece of mexican hate (go go magic tancredo! keep those latinos out of your party!) and "24" inspired bullshit hypothetical they get asked by dumb newsreaders and such. i've recently read rumblings that romney is the annointed of the party establishment, but fox, as the unofficial party broadsheet, still smells like it's boosting giuliani to me.
