TiVo?

This is a longshot, but has anyone ever successfully hooked up and used a TiVo with BU ethernet? I am having so many issues trying to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know about TiVo, but I have (very) successfully used an external TV tuner. It plugs into the USB port and you can schedule recordings (incredibly similar to a DVR) with Windows Media Center (or the Mac equivalent or a bunch of other programs) then save them on either your hard drive or any type of external memory (being able to make DVDs of shows for friends is wonderful!). This is especially great for the 7-ish HD channels that we get at BU. If you want more information, I'd be happy to elaborate!

P.S. I'm sorry this isn't actually about TiVo; I haven't had or heard of any experience with it here at BU, but I just wanted to provide you with another option that I know actually works. Good Luck!

Yes. My roommate did it. I have no idea how she got it to work, but it did. Don't give up!
