So... does anyone know anyone who's gotten a warning from BU about illegal downloads? My roommate got one recently, and we're wondering what comes of it. Is it just a warning or do they take any action?

I just feel bad because I told her it should be fine 'cause she never downloads anything... but I guess I was wrong.

Does anyone have just a cap and CAS tassel for sale? I have a gown already but don't want to pay the $60 at yourcapandgown.com or the huge price at barnes and noble...

Does anyone have a cap and gown I can buy/borrow? Ideally with a cap and black tassel (COM/CAS) - but I can deal if there aren't any.

I tried the yourcapandgown website and PayPal doesn't want to accept any of my credit/debit cards. And Barnes and Noble is just ridiculous. :(

My parents are staying at Warren Towers for Sunday graduation. Where can they eat breakfast before my 9am convocation at LAW? What about lunch before the 1pm CAS ceremony at Nickerson?

 I am 5'8" and have one cap and gown. Come to my apartment in Union Square, Somerville and buy them from me for $10. The cap doesn't have a tassel, deal with it, use yarn.

 I also have a graduation cap & gown for sale.  I have the gown, cap, and the Sargent tassel (green & yellow).  I'm 5'9" so the gown should work for anyone around that height.  I'll sell all 3 for $50, which is definitely less than the bookstore charges (I think I paid 75) and then you can just sell it again next year and make your money back ( Read more... )
