I'm always bummed we don't live in an area that gets much trick-or-treating traffic. This year, I was discouraged enough that I just went ahead to work instead of staying at home to man the door.

I hear this from quite a few people. I think next year I might invite some friends over to help give out candy.

I hear this. Halloween is probably my favorite holiday--as dorky as that sounds. Perhaps because it is so simple. It's about costumes and candy!!!

Now that I live in a condo, Halloween just about might as well not exist.

Well, unless you count the random people here and there headed to rush street parties, but that's not really what I mean...

Yeah, that's one regret I have about the condo-- handing out candy to kids in cute costumes would be fun.

I'm guessing Cosmic Girl was her own creation. Though oddly, creating a distaff counterpart to Cosmic Boy (magnetic powers, one of of the founders of the Legion of Super-Heroes), would work unusually well in the princess era. His classic costume was mostly pink already.

(And an adaptation of his 70s costume, while definitely not appropriate for preteen wear, would be tailor-made for what sorority girls and the like don for Halloween these days.)

Her Cosmic Girl costume was more stars-on-black. I originally thought she was the solar system, but she corrected me. Unfortunately, it was such heavy traffic that I didn't have much time to question her before another little scamp was accosting me for candy.
