I signed paperwork for a new job today. I'm dressing for Opera Australia's Spring season, starting next week and running until Dec 15. The bookshop has been fabulous about me basically deserting them for six weeks ( Read more... )

I just got back from a walk to the shopping centre, I bought celebratory creme caramel, watermelon, and pyjama pants:)

does "dressing" mean you have to supply them with a head on a platter, or is that more of a props thing?

That would be props. Dressing is making sure nobody winds up onstage with any part of their costume on backwards, and running back for the gloves/cape/seventh veil they left in the dressing room by mistake after you laid it out for them and reminded them three times.
