While on vacation I spent a day in Wilmington, NC. I saw some of my Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill spots. It was pretty cool and turned me into a total dork. Here are some photos:

Is it sad I only recognize the RC on sight? lol. What are the rest? I'm having a hard time placing the location on the show(s).

Well of course you have the river court. BTW I was pleasently surprised to see that the writing is still there and found it funny that they take down the hoopes when their not shooting. In the background of the RC is the river walk, you can't exactly see but behind one of the buildings is the resturant where they had Leery's Fresh Fish. I wanted to eat there but it was too expensive. The last pic has the bridge you may see in some shots on DC and OTH.

I also saw Hell's Kitchen, the CD shop that appears in both shows, and walking on the River Walk was pretty surreal. Let me just say everything looks bigger on television. lol.

I think they might have used or will use the writing on the RC again this season if they preserved it? That'd be my guess and it is weird they take the hoops down when they aren't in use. And oh wow...it all looks so different on tv and well I guess it has been a while since the DC days.

Yeah it looks diff in pictures which is why I had a hard time, lol.

Maybe they take them down to be safe; so that people won't use them; I don't know lol

That is so cool! I loved watching Dawson's Creek. I have a friend who move to NC a couple of years ago and I have been waiting to go see all this coolness! It is so good to see you posting again. Thanks for sharing! (-:
