Okay so I'm giving myself an ulcer thinking about this. Did anyone get loans from Fafsa? How long did it take to recieve those loans. Also does anyone know if I simply get a check in the mail and then I deposite it or does the loan go to my school to get deposited?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A loan from them? No, but I do get financial aid. If that's what you mean then don't worry about it, it should go in automatically. It always has for me, I mean I used to get a check a few weeks after school started from them with anything extra, but other then that, it all goes in without you having to do anything.

Edit: Also, your school should send you a letter that lists all the financial stuff in detail, like a list of what you're getting from where and stuff like that. For me it usually comes in late July.

Thanks for the help Nic! It makes me feel a little better. Do you know if all schools just have the money going in or just certain school. Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really nervous that I won't have a place to live down there due to the fact that my loan dosen't come in time.

No problem, this is something I unfortunately know about, lol. I believe so but I would recommend you call the bursars/fin aid office at your school and talk to them about it, they might be able to help answer your questions better then I can. The website to your school should have the number listed. :) But I've never had any issues with FAFSA not getting the money in, when you get loans outside the school that's another story.
