We had quite a lot of trouble finding the door this time. I had to resort to methodically tracing my finger back and forth across the calendar until I hit it. It's a tiny door in Santa's bag and I figured that meant it had to be a toy.

This is a short one because we got home very late from league finals and weren't really feeling it. It's the upper window of a house. I guessed a wreath and Austin tossed off an "I don't know... a crib."

We discussed whether the door for this one was a window of the church, or whether it was a separate building, and eventually decided it's actually another building situated behind the church. We both thought it was going to be an inhabitant.

Day 6 of the Advent calendar is a small, square door on the chimney. December 6 is St. Nicholas Day, and some of my past Sellmer calendars have made note of this by having St. Nicholas behind door 6, sometimes accompanied by his donkey and holding a small Christmas tree.

I asked Austin about yesterday's, the church attic, before reopening the door back up for him. He guessed "a small Christmas tree." (It was owls.)
