what do you do with yourself?
Computer and online gaming, read speculative fiction/comics/the internet, snuggle with cats and all too rarely catch up with my fellow geeks in SF/F Perth fandom or (less often) Perth pagans. Watch a lot of (subbed!)* anime or SF shows, mostly in binges. Occasionally read a page or so of le Guin's translation of the Tao te Ching, and then ponder on it. Type around one cat or the other, frequently. Intermittently aspire to one day be a great Sage, if not Equal of Heaven. Inflict my sense of humour** on any who don't run away fast enough. Crack wise unless ill enough to be admitted to hospital. Talk to Coyote most days. I used to do some pen-and-paper role-playing, but the group dissolved, sadly, and finding the right gaming group is bloody difficult

Well, like me you seem to love cats dearly, and enjoy snuggling them and talking about them. I happen to love hearing about people's cats, so this works well for me. Therefore... cat related queries. ^___^
How many cats do you own, and what are their names?
How long have you owned them for, and where did you get them from?
The Housemate and I are owned by two cats, Dervish and Sniffles.
Sniffles is your standard British Shorthair style moggy, in tortoiseshell. She's very cuddly, which is both a good and a bad thing at varying times, but often I can't get to sleep until she comes to bed. (She's my left-hand cat, because she 99+% of the time curls up against my left side.) Sniffles is a talkypuss, and likes to vocalise, especially in response to a person talking to her.
Dervish is a mini-Maine Coon, in that if she was only double her actual size she'd have all the markings and habits of Maine Coons. She's also mad as a porridge knife. Dervish is a whingypuss, and loves to wander by, whinge and then move on, just so you know that the universe is still not up to her standards of perfection.
Both of them like to get between me and the keyboard, which has helped me to learn to type well with either hand or whilst not being able to see the keys.
More to come later, probably during the quiet bits at work. =)

Single, compatible (non-bogan) women are kinda hard to find in your mid-30s.
Boys just do not do it for me at all, but I'd give an itfriend a go if I met the right it.
