Pretty much my take on it as well. As long as we don't get another summer like 90/91 when we hit the highest recorded maximum in Perth, which was 47.2C (117F)

That said, it's pretty damn unusual for the temp to get this high this early. Hopefully it's just a spike, and not a harbinger of the weather to come. ;>.>
Damn. People here are complaining that 86-ish F (I think that's somewhere around 27 or 28 C?) is COLD. I have no idea what's wrong with them. I call this optimal operation temperature, for myself at least. Wish I could send you some rain, or at least a very cold breeze...
I am so glad we've got an airconditioned house (for the first time in over 3 years!).
It leans towards a cold house, and it's not good for heating. Moving in during winter was not the best timing! :D But this summer should more than make up for that.
