Short's underrated. I'm 5'1/2" - not even a respectable 5'1" - and I hate it. I can't reach anything. Some of the kids that come to the butterfly show are taller than I am despite the fact that they're years younger than me. And I always feel like such a freak around my friends. My best friend is over 6" and I feel like a midget when I'm standing next to him. I have another girl friend who are almost 6" and then even the 'short' ones are taller than me.

I'd kill to have your height.

Losing weight is a hard feat. Most people can't do it. I struggled with trying to do so for three years before I stopped gaining weight. That's right, I gained 25 lbs over three years of trying to lose weight. This summer though I did a detox diet for a week and that's the first thing that worked for me. Nothing but fruits and veggies (pretty much all uncooked) and the occasional bowl of soup. And water. Lots of water. And I was eating all day long, Like, 5 or 6 pieces of fruit, a bowl of salad, a plate or two of celery/carrot/broccoli sticks during the course of the day. It might not work for everyone, i don't think any diet works for everyone, but it's the only one I've found that works for me.

I'm another of those pathetic ones who can't lose weight either. :::sigh::: I can do rocket science but I can't lose weight. :P I do know that I must be soooo very much more active than I am. I'm too much of a mouse potato these days.

Bunny, you *have* changed a whole lot since we first met! You've held jobs outside the house, you've gone to college and kicked major academic butt and you've faced many things you never even dreamed that you'd be able to handle.
